Super cute giveaway!

My Interview with MrCoupon!

A few days ago I posted about a great opportunity I had to interview Nathan Engels, aka MrCoupon.  If you are a fan of TLC's "Extreme Couponing", you may recognize him from there.  He is also the man behind weusecoupons.com (a site I have totally fallen in love with!).  I also had the chance to ask his mom a question as well - double the fun, folks!  This was my first interview opportunity, so I am thrilled to be able to share it with you!  Without further delay, here ya go!

How did you get into couponing?  My wife and I got married and realized we were deeply in debt.  So we cut up our credit cards and set a grocery budget.  In order to stretch our budget we looked to coupons to help us!

What is the reaction of friends and family members to your couponing and stockpiling?  They love it.  My friends joke they have the five finger discount when they come to our house!  They have five fingers and seems to leave with their fingers full LOL. 

What is your best couponing tip for new couponers?  I have really only have TWO!  I call them to two “O’s.  Online and Organization.  Both are super important.  Get online and get organized!

Get online!! Go to couponing sites & forums.  By using online coupon forums, like weusecoupons.com, you get thousands of other people helping you to find great deals!  Great preparation  = tons of savings!

Great Giveaway!

I've never been a "shoe girl".  I'm just not that into shopping for shoes.  Same thing goes for clothes, for the most part (unless they're clothes for my guys).  I'm kind of hard to fit, and I just never could justify spending the money.  So what's the point of this little revelation?  I do have one MAJOR obsession weakness - I love love LOVE cute bags.  I don't buy them often, but when I can - watch out!  I love going & wandering through purse sections of stores, just dreaming.  There may or may not be some minor stroking of the leather.... I have to admit, we don't have cable right now - it is one of the things that just didn't make the budget.  I don't often miss it (my other half doesn't feel quite the same way about it), but I am a bit bummed that I haven't been able to watch Extreme Couponing on TLC.  I'm not sure that I'd watch it often, but at least once in a while.  I'd try to catch it online, but I also don't have sound on my computer right now (speaker malfunction - new ones are also not in the budget right away).  In any event, I was given the opportunity to interview Nathan from Extreme Couponing (aka Mr. Coupon) - stay tuned for that, I'm sure you won't want to miss it!

All About Boys!
