About Me

I'm a very happily married 30-something.  I live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest - if you haven't been out here you really should!

Along with trying to find ways to stretch a dollar & make the most of every moment of life, I love to do all that domestic stuff - cooking, organizing, decorating.  I've even been known to clean when I need to (which is actually pretty often).  I'm the lone female in my house so it tends to be a bit difficult maintaining my "girly stuff" but I sure try!

This brings me to my guys.  The husband (originally known on the blog as the "almost-husband") is absolutely amazing.  He has been through some of the worst things imaginable, and kept fighting until he got through it.  He is a man of few words and is the kind of guy who will do anything to help someone he cares about.  He is quick to laugh at pretty much everything - even himself.  He keeps me from looking at things too seriously, and reminds me to stop overthinking & just jump in sometimes.  If you couldn't tell, I'm absolutely crazy in love with this guy!

The kiddo (my stepson) is 13.  He is sometimes a little too bright, and is VERY perceptive about things.  He is so much like his daddy - quick to laugh & not afraid to be absolutely ridiculous. I've learned not to let that fool me though - there is way more to this boy than just a clown.  Little Man has potential like you wouldn't believe!  I can't wait to see what he does with it & consider myself pretty blessed to have him (and his dad) in my life.
